Keith graduated from East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology. He has over 20 years of experience in the engineering field and construction industry. He began his career as an Engineer for an electric utility in Bristol, Virginia and throughout his years there became the Manager of Electric Engineering and Outside Telecommunications Operations. During that time, Keith led engineering personnel in numerous utility design projects including utility improvement projects, utility design for commercial and residential developments, and utility design and replacement for distribution projects. He was also involved with utility operations management, ROW acquisition, project management, construction monitoring and management, engineering review, utility coordination, and utility crew and contractor crew management.
Before Keith joined Keystone Surveying and Mapping, he held the position of Electrical Engineer for Loudoun County Virginia Department of Transportation and Capital Infrastructure where he was involved with the electrical design in various vertical construction projects which included utility design, engineering review, and contract management. Keith was also involved with utility relocation projects while serving as the Utility Relocation Program Manager for VDOT in Richmond, Virginia. He managed various utility relocations for transportation improvement projects and statewide utility design/build projects and staff across the entire state of Virginia.
When Keith’s not at KSM, he is an antique car enthusiast having owned several antique vehicles over the years and enjoys working on his current antique vehicle. Keith and his wife enjoy live music as well as listening to their vast record collection.
